Sunset Playhouse

Do you like getting your hands dirty and creating something new? Join us in the scene shop working on sets for shows in the Furlan Auditorium. With eight MainStage shows each season, there's always something going on in the shop. Our Technical Director will find a job that suits your ability and experience level. No experience is necessary, we will teach you anything you need to know! The shifts posted here are for construction, painting, set dressing, or striking of the set.

Our administration office is always buzzing with activity. With new projects popping up daily, sometimes we need help keeping ourselves organized. These volunteers would help us out by filing important documents, copying scripts for archives and for our stage managers, help stuff mailings, program folding, organization and general office projects!

No experience is necessary, we will teach you anything you need to know! When you arrive, the House Manager will go over procedures and match volunteers with positions they feel comfortable in. Positions may include Ticket Takers, Will Call, Ushers, Coffee Corner, Concessions/Bartender, and Goodbye Volunteer. Even murder? That’s the question posed by this light and funny suspense comedy set in a Howard Johnson Motor Inn. The play presents a love triangle involving a woman, her lover, and her husband in three parts. In the first scene, the wife and her lover plot to murder the husband. In the second, the wife and her husband are plotting to murder the lover. The final scene finds the husband and lover plotting to murder the wife, but this attempt, like the others, fails.
